Language Arts T-shirt Project

Mrs. Sikes' Language Arts students were assigned a T- shirt project. They had to illustrate a reading, writing, vocabulary, or grammar concept that they studied this year.  They had to use at least five colors and have a 3-D depiction on the shirt, in addition to spelling and punctuation being correct.




 

5th Grade Magnetic Fields

The 5th grade Science classes did a lab about magnetic fields and discovered that they really do exist!

World War II

Mrs.Johnson's sixth grade classes created and performed skits about WWII. Belle Neilson was Winston Churchill, Jaidyn Fortenberry was Anne Frank, General Eisenhauer was portrayed by Eric Robertson,President Roosevelt was portrayed by Conner Fredieu and Justin Turner was a German soldier. Their skit was very entertaining and educational with a surprise ending.

The 6th grade band, choir, and art students have been working on a collaborative project. The completed projects were judged and the winners presented to the School Board on March 12, 2013 in the new Performing Arts Center.
